Concerts

Ivana Medić’s piano recital “Sonatas and Variations Inspired by Folklore”, in honour of Professor Milanka Mišević’s 90th birthday. The Great Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, Belgrade, 15 December 2024. The concert was organised by the Centre for Music of the Kolarac Endowment, within the concert cycle “Belgrade Promenades”.

Concert “Interwoven with the Music and Dance of Burundi”. Konak kneginje Ljubice (Kneza Sime Markovića 8, Belgrade), 30 October 2023. The concert was conceived and prepared by Dr Marija Dumnić Vilotijević (ethnomusicologist). Assistants in the preparation of the programme: Dr Vanja Grbović (musicologist), Dr Marija Maglov (musicologist), Dr Miloš Marinković (musicologist), Milena Royai (translator for the French language – African dialects).

Concert and public forum in honour of Prof. Dr Nadežda Mosusova’s 95th birthday. Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, 2 October 2023. The event was organised in collaboration with the Vasilije Mokranjac Foundation and supported by the Serbian Science Fund and the Serbian Ministry of Culture.

Concert “Moving Music and Dance”. Museum of African Art, Belgrade, 23 June 2023, at the opening of the exhibition “Art, in Spite of Everything – Contemporary African Art from the Collection of Ilija Gubić” (curator: Aleksandra Gačić), within the 2023 “Afro Festival”. Participants: groups of singers, musicians and dancers “Sounds of East Africa” and “NG Kids”.
The program was created and prepared by Dr Marija Dumnić Vilotijević (ethnomusicologist), with associates Dr Marija Maglov (musicologist), Dr Miloš Marinković (musicologist), and Milena Royai (translator for the French language – African dialects).
